Intermediate level knitter.

Have you ever wanted to learn to knit socks?  They may seem intimidating but once you learn a few easy techniques you will wonder what you were ever afraid of. 

This class will teach you everything you need to learn about sock construction, we will be using worsted weight yarn, which makes this a very quick project.  

This class is 2 sessions each of 2 hours.  There will be homework between classes

3 person minimum full refund given if minimum is not met

6 person maximum wait list will be available

Skills needed:-  All students should be comfortable with Cast On, Knit , Purl, basic pattern reading, and knitting in the round. 

Materials needed:-  1 skein of worsted weight yarn, we chose the EYB Fair isle yarn for our sample knit, we love the color changes the yarn offers with no effort, but we have several other options in store.

Set of DPNS, or 32" or longer circular needle #7 or size needed to get gauge of 18sts=4" It is advisable to check this in advance

Stitch markers ( removable ones are useful), tape measure, tapestry needle, scissors.  Note book and pencil

Skills we will learn:- How to construct heel flap, turn the heel, pick up for gusset and gusset decreases, toe construction and Kitchener stitch grafting.

All materials should be purchased in store, registered students receive 10% off of materials

Students must be 16+

Class dates. MONDAY AUGUST  7TH AND 14TH 6-8PM

Payment should be made in advance.  Full refund can be given up to 48 hours in advance.  If you are unable to attend one of the sessions, please let us know and we  will try and reschedule you for another session, but are unable to guarantee this.

    A Pop of Color Yarns will ship within 2 days of your order. We will use USPS for all orders unless specified in advance of your chosen carrier ( extra charges may apply)

  • Returns

    All yarns and notions can be returned to the store with in 30 days, with a receipt amd in orginal condition and packaging, for full refund. After 30 days full store credit will given with receipt, up to 90 days after date of purchase

    Once yarn has been wound it cannot be returned.

    Classes and events are refundable up to 48 hours prior to event. 48 hours and closer to event, will only be refunded if space can be filled from waitlist.
