Learn to knit socks on magic loop using a long circular needle.
In this class we will be making a small sock.
You will learn everything you need to know to go on and made a full-size pair of socks for any size person.
We will learn to cast on and join in the round using the magic loop method. Knit the rib and the leg, the heel flap and then turn the heel, picking up stitches for the gusset and then decreasing the gusset, knit the foot before finally making and closing your toe using the Kitchener stitch.
All the techniques you need to knit a pair of socks for any size person will be learned during this fun class.
Class is aimed at advanced beginner and up. You should be comfortable with casting on, increasing, decreasing and picking up stitches.
Materials needed: - A size 4/3.5mm 32"/40" circular needle.
Approx. 30g of worsted weight yarn in a light color
Stitch markers and basic tool kit for crafting
10% student discount for day of the class can be applied to any purchase of fingering weight yarn to make your first pair of socks.
