Winter Sweater Workshop

Join us for our winter sweater making workshop.

We are going to be  making https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/vanillas-big-sister-sweater.

This is a very simple basic crew neck raglan sweater that will be a new favorite wear every day sweater addition to your closet.

This project is very beginner friendly, if you have always wanted to learn to make a sweater this is the one for you.  Knit on very large needles and a big gauge this sweater will fly off your needles in no time.

We have 2 yarn choices for this project.  Berroco Lanas a worsted weight 100% wool held double with Berroco Aerial a mohair silk blend.   Or Berroco Lanas Quick, a chunky weight 100% wool yarn ( no mohair strand).

Skills Needed

Cast on, knit and purl, knit in the round, Knit front and back, bind off.

$100 per person, plus materials.

All students must have their own copy of the pattern.

You will need your basic tool kit, note pad and pencil, reading glasses and your tin of try it on tubing, we have this available in store should you need it.  

Cost of class does not include materials, we appreciate you purchasing your yarn from us and supporting our small business.

Guage, to ensure your success in making this garment you will need to know your gauge with yarn chosen.  In order to do this, take your measurement's and do your gauge swatch following the directions on the pattern. This will determine the size you choose to make. Please take note of the designers positive or negative ease advice.  Just as fyi this pattern has A LOT of positive ease suggested, this makes it a very oversized cardigan, you do not need to do this much.   Should you need help with this, are holding a Gauge Swatch with Confidence class  SATURDAY JANUARY 3RD  2pm-3pm $15
